Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons melted butter
16 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or fresh pitted cherries)
Instructions
Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan or pie dish.
Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.
Spoon the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
Top with cherry pie filling or fresh cherries.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the cheesecake to set.

If using fresh cherries, remove the stems and pits before topping the cheesecake.
