Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 cup warm water
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
For the Strawberry Filling:
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Icing:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add flour and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
Mix strawberries with cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Roll dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick) on a floured surface.
Spread strawberry mixture evenly across dough.
Roll tightly from one edge and seal the seam. Slice into 1-inch rolls.
Arrange in a greased baking pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing. Drizzle over cooled rolls.
Notes
Frozen strawberries may be used; thaw and drain first.
Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
